Our sweet Mason!

He's 2 1/2 years old already and I love him to pieces.

I don't know what we would do without this sweet (most of the time) little boy.

A warm January day!!

 I read this the other day, and it makes me truly appreciate every single thing about this guy...

even when we aren't having a "good" day:

I won't always cry Mommy,

when you leave the room,

and my supermarket tantrums, will end too soon.

I won't always wake, Daddy,

For cuddles through the night,

and one day you will miss,

having a chocolate face to wipe.

You won't always wake to find my foot,

is kicking you out of bed,

or find me sideways on your pillow,

where you want to lay your head.

You won't always have to carry me,

asleep from the car,

or piggy back me down the road,

when my little legs can't walk that far.

So cherish every cuddle and remember them all,

because one day,

I won't be this small.

 

 

 

 

 

 He loves to watch the bigger boys play basketball :)

 

So here's what he's into these days:

He loves anything Batman, and we watch it almost daily!

His 2nd favorite is Power Rangers and he loves to show off his Samurai Skills...

where did this big boy come from?!?!

He talks!  Alot!!  Actually more like non-stop :)

He's become quite the grouch in the morning and hates "bright lights," demanding we turn them all off when he comes into our room every morning.

He needs at least 15 minutes of cartoon watching and a sippy cup of milk before he'll even think about starting his day.

He still sleeps in his crib and has zero desire to move into his big boy bed.

(Which means, for the time being that Vince is still in the pack n play)

Pancakes and waffles are his favorite food and he would eat them for every meal if given the opportunity.

He weighs 29 pounds and has never had an illness any more serious than the regular old flu and a few ear infections!  He's a healthy boy :)

He can count to 20 and he knows his ABC's.

He knows his full name, his Mom and Dad's full names, and even baby Vince's full name.

He loves to sing...Jingle Bells and Rock a bye baby are his favorites (but he sings rock a bye Jesus instead of baby!) It's pretty cute :)

He and Jaidie also love Alicia Keyes song "Girl on Fire" and they belt it out at the top of their lungs.

He *thinks* he loves Taco Bell, but I've discovered he just loves Tacos, and he thinks any taco apprearing item in front of him must have come from Taco Bell.

I can pretty much wrap up any dinner we are eating into a taco shell and he'll scarf it down.  I'm sure this disguise won't last me too much longer :)

He is a little jealous of his baby bro but it's getting less and less with each day, and on occassion he will give the little guy a kiss if prompted!
