Our Year in Photos

Swimming at the Aquatic Center! Mason LOVES the water! He hasn't been in a pool since last summer and within 30 seconds he was off and running toward the pool.  This boy has No Fear...   He's being brave...look at him dunking his head under!!  He had so much fun!!

22 weeks!! Doesn't he look so cute in there :) He's almost 1 pound and about the size of a spaghetti squash!! I had the official ultrasound this week and everything with the baby looked great. My placenta is a little low lying and he's breech right now so that will get me another ultrasound sometime in my next trimester!  Probably another good reason why I've elected for a scheduled C-section this time around.  But as long as everything goes ok between now and then we've scheduled this little guys birthday for Tuesday, August 28!! The Dr would have let me go as early as the 27th (what Josh preferred) but I have some serious number issues and think that 8/28/12 sounds much better....all even numbers, two 8's, and two 2's...it's perfect :)

Soccer practice with Jaidie :) And Mason takes this time to pretend he's a puppy...most definitely one of his favorite things to do right now! He'll even fetch and sit for a treat ;)

Mason's hat has come in the mail!! And if you can't tell by these pictures, he WAS very excited :) We first spotted this hat at a nearby Old Navy but they only carried it in 3 month size. Mason shoved that thing on his head as best as he could and walked around the store that way while we shopped. When it was time to go he was not very happy about leaving it behind so I just had to order one for him.

What's a trip to Monrovia without seeing a few baby chicks?!?! We got to visit with Ashley and the girls one last time before they headed home to Michigan... I so wish this could be a weekly thing... Mason is getting braver every day...he wanted to climb that ladder all by himself! These girls are just gorgeous :)

Kassie's Baby Shower!! My best friend has had a rough pregnancy to say the least! It seems every symptom an expecting Mom can get she has endured, and now to top it off she is finishing out this pregnancy with gestational diabetes :/ But to see the glass as half full she's gained very little weight and looks A-mazing!! Congrats Kass...we can't wait to meet Isaiah :) Little Tiernan...5 months old! Sweet Marcus...looking like his Daddy today! There's something in the water around here!!! All the pregnant girls at Kassie's shower this weekend :) Later that night I noticed Mason wasn't feeling too great so we ran over to the Immediate Care to find out that he has a double ear infection...Boo to that! We spent the rest of the evening resting and catching up on some reading. Jaidie had to take this opportunity to play Doctor...it's not very often Mason will hold still for her! And here he is getting a shot! ...

The last year of my 20's!! And this was greeting me when I stepped outside this morning... Seeing a butterfly signifies good luck and financial success! I was blessed with warm weather and a beautiful sunny day. A wonderful birthday weekend spent shopping, pampering myself (thanks to my sweet hubby for that!) and spending time with family and friends...what else could a girl need :) I'm another year older, and with so much going on in my life right now, I'm completely ok with it. We also took some family photos today and here are a few sneak peeks...more to come later on!

The new puppy!!! He's not ours...I haven't completely lost my mind...yet! Meet Chesney....or is it Chelsea....wait it's Cooper...No, his name is Copper! Who knows, we'll get it figured out in the next week or so and my Mom might have it right by the time the dog is 3 ;) My Mom and Dad's new Goldendoodle sure is cute and the kids are in LOVE!!
