Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS -  and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room! For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom. The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was le...

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. One last getaway before our kids headed back to school and this one couldn't have been more perfect!  I highly recommend seeing these amazing Falls at least once in your lifetime!  We did all things tourist-y and I wanted to share some of our favorites if you're ever looking to take a trip North. Our girls + kids weekend getaway, plus all the deets: Also, girls trips are awesome - we had soo much fun! If you're looking for a home to rent while in Niagara Falls that is gorgeous and perfect in every way, while also being within walking distance from most things then be sure to check this one out.  This was just enough off the beaten path that we could come back home in the afternoons and unwind while getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.  Us girls sat on the porch and rested while the kids played in the hot tub, or on the tire swing in the backyard!  Here's the short list of our favorite tours and eater...
