Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS - and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room!

For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom.

The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was less than $100!!

The large letters (use picture tape to apply to the wall and avoid nail holes), tent, artwork, antlers, and gray storage box on top of the dresser were all from Hobby Lobby - LOVE that place and I always buy when they have the 50% off sale going on!

The dresser was an old one we owned, but I chalk painted the top and sides with Lowe's Chalk paint in White and then added new knobs, also from Hobby Lobby.

 And another view:

Love these shelves from Hobby Lobby and couldn't live without the little bottles of goodness that are perfect to store here!  Every night the boys pick which blend they would like in their diffuser.  For more info on how you can get your own oils, click HERE!

Rug also from Hobby Lobby,
Loved THIS bedding (and bonus it's listed at clearance price) from JCPenney,
Sheets can be found from Target HERE.

The bunk beds are what MADE the room for the boys, and we grabbed those at Walmart with free shipping, you can find them HERE!

I still have a few more details to add, but the boys LOVE their new space and that's what is the most important!

-xoxo
Lindsey
