Our Year in Photos

He's so close to walking!! He'll take one step before falling...I know it'll be just a few more days!!   He says dog, baba, ball, Dad, Jaidie, Cricket, Mamaw....   He does not say Mommy. I think he's punishing me! He gives slobbery open mouthed kisses that I love and he squeezes you tight for a hug.   He waves bye-bye, plays peek-a-boo, and loves itsy bitsy spider!   He's so sweet natured and very loving... except at bedtime. At bedtime, he's Mr. Independent. No paci, no blankie, he won't let me rock him or snuggle him. When it's time for sleep...he demands that I put him directly into his bed, where he finishes his milk and dozes off.  I miss his late night snuggles but it does make the bedtime routine pretty easy!   I still get my snuggles from Mason...he'll never give up those last few minutes alone with me or Josh before we tuck him in :)

Community Heritage Fest  They got to ride a tractor (twice!), jump in a bounce house, and pet farm animals! All in all, a pretty great day :)    Even Vince got a turn! The baby was exhausted...   And then home for a walk to the park! We wore them out!!!    Once we're gone, we're going to miss these sidewalks and our easy walk to the neighborhood park, among other things.   There is so much about our house that doesn't work for our family right now,   but I will be sad to leave it.   This is our first home together, as a couple and then as a family. This is the first place my babies ever lived. We have lots of great memories here!   But I am even more excited about what's to come for us at the new place and I can't wait for that adventure to begin!   He made a few friends at the park...   and in typica...

I'll say it again... Peapod. The best invention EVER !!!!   I order my groceries from my phone during my down time at work and they are delivered to my kitchen 48 hours later!   It's ahhhh-mazing and I love it!!   Peapod for life!!    Yes...I get this excited over groceries...   Being an adult isn't all its cracked up to be.  

 My babies before bed! Vince is getting to the age where he's beginning to play nicely with Mason... meaning I can actually get stuff done while the two of them entertain each other, and I must admit, it's quite nice!
