Our Year in Photos

Another Sunday of Bike Rides :)  He loves to sit in his Dad's truck and pretend to drive! We normally have to drag him from it kicking and screaming...

Happy 24th Birthday Collin!! We suprised him with dinner at Lotus Garden...mmmm, my favorite :)   Look at this cake made by Brian!! He did awesome and it looks just like the lake :)

Mason loves riding on his Daddy's old rocking horse!! My Sweet Mason is 20 months old!! He loves being with his Mom and Dad and lights up when he sees Jaidie. His favorite shows are Blues Clues, Little Bear, and Bubble Guppies. His favorite food is grilled cheese and any fruit.  He prefers milk over any other beverage  :) He gives very good kisses! He loves choo choo trains, trucks, and school buses and points them out when we are driving. He loves to ride bikes and go on walks through the woods. To avoid bedtime he either asks for food or distracts us by trying to make us laugh.  He's gotten very good at postponing sleep. All of his baby teeth are in and he weighs 24 pounds! He LOVES to sing and dance.  When he sings, he half way closes his eyes and really gets into it...it's hysterical to watch :) He likes to walk around the house wearing his Mom and Dad's shoes :) He loves Annabelle and Cricket and can say their names very clearly. He can't go without his BaB...

It's beautiful around here!! And the pear trees are blooming!!

One of my favorite pictures so far this year...... It cracks me up!! I don't even remember what he was telling his Dad, but he thought it was pretty funny!! We had to walk to the creek to throw a few rocks in :) Helping Mammaw in her flower beds :)

He's a good little helper :) Cleaning up the yard over at my Dad's flip house, and Mason was eager and willing to give us a hand!! Get ready for a very sweet picture..... :) Don't they look so sweet here!!! This was a very short period when they were BOTH happy and content... Thanks to his Aunt Reanne, he's been introduced to Handi-Snacks, Fudge Rounds, and Capri Sun...and he loves them all!!

She wants him to give her the magic phrase to get through.... seriously ?!?! All he can think to do is scream and try to push his way around her. This is what we deal with CONSTANTLY!! I know they love each other...but they torment and argue more than siblings!! Our first dinner outside this year!!! And a moment of peace while they are eating :)

Today began as a horrible. terrible. no good. very bad day. And I blame it entirely on Daylight Savings time. We aren't adjusting to it well (and by we, I mean Mason) and he was a bear from the moment I tried to wake him this morning.  He fought me through his diaper change, getting dressed, and getting into his carseat.  He even refused to tell his Dad bye.  I think I witnessed at least 3 temper tantrums within a 9 minute period.  We left the house without shoes or a jacket. As we got into the car his mood seemed to lighten a little with the promise of toddler tunes on the radio and fruit snacks for breakfast - something he's just recently discovered and a new found love!!  We made it (late) to daycare and as I was pulling him out of his carseat to walk inside, he looked straight up into the sky just as the sun was beginning to rise.  He pointed towards the sun with his chubby little finger and just smiled and smiled.  Actually, it was a f...

Update on Baby Stephens :) Here are a few pics from our last ultrasound... 15 weeks and going good! He's about the size of an avacado and moves around like crazy...although, I'm not yet feeling him.
