Great way to start the summer!!

While Josh was at the Indy 500, we had a little pool party of our own!! The days are getting hotter...and we LOVE it! Summer - bring it on :) We're ready and waiting!!

Adventures in Frog Rescue A couple of frogs were trapped in our window well outside the basement...the rescue was on!! If you weren't already aware, Jaidie is a pro in the frog rescuing business... She grabs those frogs up like it's nobody's business, and then we put them safely in the woods where they belong!!

My little Jaidie bug :) You wouldn't know it from this picture - but she's not as angelic as she looks. Here's how today went... I pick Jaiden up on Friday's from the sitter and she loves listening to toddler tunes on the CD player. You know, it's the normal kid stuff - "The Itsy Bitsy Spider," "B-I-N-G-O," "ABC's," etc. etc. etc. And it goes on and on and on... Jaiden loves it, Mason loves it, it drives me absolutely nuts but I endure for the children!! After 15 minutes of music, we pull in the driveway... Jaiden -- "Let's listen to music in the house" Me -- "I'm sorry Jaiden but our CD player is broken inside so we can only listen to it while driving" (Honestly, I just can't take anymore.) Jaiden -- "But I really, really, really want to listen to it... temper tantrum follows when she realizes the music has been turned off! She throws herself on the ground, legs kicking and stomping, cryin...

She is really striking a pose for this shot!! I did not ask her to do this....I simply told her I wanted to take her picture, but there she is posing :) She's only 4!! Where does she learn this???  She's only 4!! Is it something inherent in us girls?? Are we are born ready for the camera?!?! I have a feeling once she hits high school, she will be locked up tight in her room ;) 

              Have I ever mentioned how blessed I am to have such an easy going, happy baby?!?! (I'm sure I have but I just have to say it again!) I love him so much :)   Puzzle time with Mom!   He loves playing with the pieces although it's a lot more banging and clanging against the wood board than putting a puzzle together, but he is learning!!

 He's thinking about walking... Since it has finally warmed up, we love sitting outside in the yard each and every evening! I pull out a blanket and we just sit and enjoy the sunshine...until the sun goes down, and the mosquitos start attacking :)

April showers have brought May flowers...   Enjoying an evening in my yard -- I love seeing my hard work pay off :) 

Marcus is a "cool dude" Baby Marcus is 3 months old... This baby wants to get up and go! He bobs his head and moves his arms all around like he is ready to move. He seemed so very happy when reading a book with his Granny June :)

Princess Lorelei turns 4!!     Happy Birthday little one...these kids grow up way to fast!!

Our fabulous family vacation...     Water fights in the pool :)     Jaiden dug these little shells out of the sand for hours...in her words, she was digging for "screws"       His first popsicle !!   What a wonderful week!! The weather was perfect and it was great to get away. Jaiden was so happy to finally see the ocean (we've been talking about this trip for months!!)  She loved walking the beach, digging in the sand, and swimming in the ocean.  I think we were meant to live by the sea :) And then, when we were all exhausted, we made our way to the airport for the seemingly endless trip home.
