Our Year in Photos

This little gem of a video needs no introduction... He prefers his underwear on backwards!  Just like his Daddy did when he was little! The picture on the back is always better, you would think the makers of underwear would've figured that one out by now! He loves all things boy...ninja turtles (which he calles inja turtles), batman and all the superheros, and anything pirate related!  He has a treasure chest full of gold doubloons and a pretty awesome pirate costume! He's still a grouch in the mornings...and I'm sure the school years will be a blast with him :/ He loves to listen to music and his favorite songs are "I'm the Man" by Aloe Blacc, which he claims is sung by Collin Keapernick from the 49ers,  and "No Sleep Til Brooklyn" by the Beastie Boys :)  When these songs come on he instantly gets a huge grin on his face.   This boy and his balls!! Baseballs, Footballs, Golfballs, and Basketballs that is!! He loves them...seriously, can't get enough!! He notices them everywhere, and I promise he says the word "ball" no less than 300 times a day. Not joking. He points them out everywhere we go...signs are balls, lamp posts are balls, and light bulbs in the ceiling are balls...and he wants to hold and throw them all!! But to see his sweet smile and hear his laugh when we gets what he wants makes my heart happy!

Enjoying our "spring like" weather!! Who am I kidding... I don't think I'll ever consider temps in the 30's to be spring like! They are little stair steps of each other :) Exploring the back yard! Jaidie loves to give hugs, but obviously Mason doesn't share that love.  This is pretty much my constant view!  He suctions himself to me and he's more than a little clingy to his Momma, but I don't mind a bit!!  I've learned to walk with a little babe holding tightly to my legs.  The other Momma...ready to step in and help whenever she can :)  Handstands! And no word on when we're moving... My best guess is NEVER .... and I'm more than a little bitter, so let's just not talk about it.

Our quick trip to the zoo... very short lived because the only thing open was The Oceans and the panda exhibit :/ But we did let them run off some energy!

These days, if the temps even rise into the 30's, I'm rushing these kids out as fast as I can to run and play. This winter has been the snowiest on record (almost 60") and has nearly set the record for the coldest...so I guess we've adjusted. I've been promising to parade myself around the neighborhood in a bikini if I can get a day in the 50's, and I'm only partially kidding :) Mason tells me daily how much he misses the park, so even though we froze our butts off we had to get outside for a quick walk! As you all know by now, I don't really love (or really even like for that matter) the house we're living in, I still feel like I should document it somewhat so my children can remember where they have lived :) So this is the neighborhood of 1881 Collingwood Drive in all it's glory!!
