This little gem of a video needs no introduction...



He prefers his underwear on backwards!  Just like his Daddy did when he was little!
The picture on the back is always better, you would think the makers of underwear would've figured that one out by now!

He loves all things boy...ninja turtles (which he calles inja turtles), batman and all the superheros, and anything pirate related!  He has a treasure chest full of gold doubloons and a pretty awesome pirate costume!

He's still a grouch in the mornings...and I'm sure the school years will be a blast with him :/

He loves to listen to music and his favorite songs are "I'm the Man" by Aloe Blacc, which he claims is sung by Collin Keapernick from the 49ers,  and "No Sleep Til Brooklyn" by the Beastie Boys :)  When these songs come on he instantly gets a huge grin on his face.

He gets the words anything and nothing mixed up and it cracks us up!
Me:  "Mason, what are you guys doing back there?"
Mason: "Anything."

He likes things in groupings of three's.  He wants 3 of whatever for each meal, he needs to do things 3 times for it to be right, and he likes to play his video game "3 more times, Mommy!"
I'm not sure if this is because he can count and now knows what the number 3 means, or if he has a little case of OCD...I guess we'll see what happens when he turns 4 ;)
Anyone else experience this??  Does this seem normal for a 3 year old??

His favorite shows are Full House and Team Umizoomi, and he loves The Goonies!

He is sooooo stubborn, and if he wants something, he won't budge.  We're working on this, but I think he gets this aspect of his personality from both of his parents, so it's definitely a struggle between all of us.


He's so full of personality these days and his vocabulary grows so fast it amazes me...

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS -  and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room! For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom. The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was le...
