Our First Ever Ski Trip!!
And definitely the most fun we've had in awhile!
We picked a warm day...it was in the 50's down south, and we headed down to Paoli Peak.
None of us had ever so much as put ski's on our feet, so the first thing to do was sign up for a lesson.
I knew Mason would sense my hesitation if I tried to teach him, so he and Jaidie headed off for their own lesson and within 30 minutes the instructor had them skiing down the bunny hill completely on their own!
I'm absolutely amazed at how quickly kids pick things up.
I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that they fear nothing, but I was very impressed!
We skied for a solid 6 hours with no break and when it was time to head out, Mason went skiing away from me as fast as his little legs could carry him shouting "Just 3 more times Mom!!"
He loved it!
We can't wait to go again...Vince will be able to join us once he turns 2, so we'll be planning another trip shortly :)

We had a blast!!!!!

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS -  and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room! For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom. The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was le...
