Jaidie Rose turns 7!!!!
Happy Birthday sweet girl ;)
 
She requested a chocolate cake with purple icing, and she and my Mom made it together :)


 
 Mason thought that candle was for him (surprise, surpise!!) and on the first rendition of "Happy Birthday" he happily blew it out...Jaidie was not impressed.
 
We sang again (and again and again) letting Jaidie blow out her own candle...

He was devastated as she got closer and closer to that candle ;)





Jaidie happily let Mason have another go at it, and I think we sang the birthday song another 15 or so times!

The kids bolted outside for a quick run through the hose, and the clothes slowly started coming off ;)
 






 My Dad enjoyed it as much as the kids!!

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. One last getaway before our kids headed back to school and this one couldn't have been more perfect!  I highly recommend seeing these amazing Falls at least once in your lifetime!  We did all things tourist-y and I wanted to share some of our favorites if you're ever looking to take a trip North. Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS -  and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room! For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom. The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was le...
