'Twas the night before he turned 3!
 
We had an evening bath outdoors - which he LOVES!
 
Can't ya tell?!

























 Don't all 2 year olds finish their bath by peeing in the water?!?!
He's gonna kill me with these when he's older :)





I kissed and hugged and squeezed him extra hard tonight at bedtime, told him an extra story (or three) and put him to bed with 3 hammers, 2 wrenches, and a screwdriver - his request.
Oh, and a jigsaw...had to throw that in at the last minute!
 
Tonight he asked me if I would "stretch" him so he would grow bigger, which I happily played along - pretending to stretch his arms and legs from one side of the room to the other while he giggled....
he's always wanting to grow bigger.
 
 
Slow down little man - it's going way too fast!!

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. One last getaway before our kids headed back to school and this one couldn't have been more perfect!  I highly recommend seeing these amazing Falls at least once in your lifetime!  We did all things tourist-y and I wanted to share some of our favorites if you're ever looking to take a trip North. Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS -  and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room! For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom. The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was le...
