Easter Weekend!
And finally some warm weather around here!!

We decorated eggs, had Easter egg hunts, baskets for the kids, a birthday party in Louisville for Elijah, church and Easter dinner with the family on Sunday.
 
First up...the coloring of the eggs!
And Mason's first attempt at this.
He did great, but we had to ditch the egg dipper and let him use his hands...he thought that was the best part :)

On Saturday, we headed to Louisville to celebrate Elijah turning 6 at SkyZone!

 I've been working with Jaidie on learning the camera so I can occasionally get some pictures with me in them! 
She is a little sponge, listening very attentively when I tell her about metering the camera and selecting the focus!
She's so excited to learn, and I'm happy to have someone so eager to take pictures!!  Maybe someday, we'll attempt editing in Photoshop :)
All of these pictures were taken by her...pretty impressive, huh?!?!

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. One last getaway before our kids headed back to school and this one couldn't have been more perfect!  I highly recommend seeing these amazing Falls at least once in your lifetime!  We did all things tourist-y and I wanted to share some of our favorites if you're ever looking to take a trip North. Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS -  and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room! For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom. The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was le...
