I'm not sure how it happened,
or where the time has gone,
but somehow when we woke up this morning...
My Baby had turned 2!

So we went downstairs and he had his favorite breakfast...
Pancakes!
The breakfast that he asks for each and every morning :)

Since it was a special occasion, I let him have his first dessert of the day...
Sour Patch Kids and Peanut Butter M & M's  (Thanks Meggi)

As he was watching his morning cartoons, he started singing along with the songs that he recognized...this is something I haven't noticed until today.
When we ask him how old he is, he says 3...not sure where this came from but we'll get this down in the next week or so ;)
And when I try to show him how to make 2 fingers to show his age, he thinks I'm starting a game of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" so he starts saying Rock over and over...it's pretty funny :)
He knows his name and always responds to it, but if you ask him his name he'll always say "ME"

We played in the sprinkler with Jaidie and then had some of his favorites for dinner...
Chicken Pot Pie, Mashed Potatoes, Mac n Cheese, Watermelon, Blueberries, and Cantaloupe

Followed by several renditions of "Happy Birthday" and ice cream cake and chocolate brownies for dessert :)
He loves to have that song sung to him and claps whenever it ends :)

I got out his bubble blowing leaf blower from Brent, Mandy, and Marcus and we played outside with Mammaw and Pappaw!


 He then realized the leaf blower was held together with screws and he decided that it was "broke" and he needed to get his tools out to fix it...
we headed to the garage and fixed the brand new leaf blower for a solid 30 minutes :)
A quick bath followed by his favorite cartoon (Team Umizoomi) and it was 9:00 and time for bed...

I love him at this age and hope to remember every.single.detail about him.
He's such a loving little guy and he gives the best hugs and kisses ever!

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. One last getaway before our kids headed back to school and this one couldn't have been more perfect!  I highly recommend seeing these amazing Falls at least once in your lifetime!  We did all things tourist-y and I wanted to share some of our favorites if you're ever looking to take a trip North. Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS -  and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room! For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom. The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was le...
