Our weekend down on the farm...Mason's 1st trip to Grandpa Ed's!!
Elan and Mason...completely by accident that they are dressed the same!!
Both fearless of 1,000 lb cows walking toward them.
I, on the other hand, am scared to death of them, due in part to a certain bull named "Six Pack" that charged me as a child.  He either thought I had food or he wanted me as food...the family still disagrees as to which it was :)

This guy will be in our freezer one year from now!!  Nothing better than meat raised by your grandfather...no hormones, no antibiotics, completely organic.

Mason had his first taste of fresh goat milk this weekend and he LOVED it!!

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend away from our city life...we must do it more often.

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. One last getaway before our kids headed back to school and this one couldn't have been more perfect!  I highly recommend seeing these amazing Falls at least once in your lifetime!  We did all things tourist-y and I wanted to share some of our favorites if you're ever looking to take a trip North. Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS -  and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room! For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom. The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was le...
