The men in my life...

Mason is well into his second year of life and becoming more like a little boy every day!
He gives slobbery, opened mouth kisses that melt my heart and he gives the BEST hugs ever.
He has 12 very sharp teeth (I've learned from experience).
He understands everything I tell him and follows my directions pretty well.
He is becoming more and more like a little boy every day, and I'm starting to lose sight of the baby I once had.
He doesn't walk...he runs...everywhere.  Yesterday, in 2 seconds flat, he made it from the garage door to our mailbox.  When I told him to turn it around, he laughed at me!!  If we're inside, he's normally trying to find a way to get to the stairs.  He crawls up them lightning fast with a huge silly grin on his face, squealing all the way.
He loves to play baseball, soccer, and golf and he knows that each sport is different.  If we hand him a ball, he knows immediately if he should kick it, throw it, or swing at it with a club.
He still prefers to cuddle with his Mama and I am enjoying every second I get because I know very soon he will prefer his Dad.
He loves playing with other children.
He refuses to eat if he can't feed himself.  No more baby food for this guy...or anything that even resembles baby food (including mashed potatoes, applesauce, rice, soup etc. etc.) He requires a spoon and fork along with each meal ;)
A great sleeper he is, and I am so very thankful!!  Sleeping 12 hours at night with a 2 hour nap during the day...in his own bed!!
He loves his paci and calls it his ba-ba...I'm dreading the day we take it away.
He wants to be outside ALL the time.
He loves racing his cars around the house and makes all the noises that go along with it.
His all time favorite thing to play with is still SHOES.  He puts them on his hands and cruises around the house.
At daycare, he now gets to go to the park with the big kids.  When I pull up to get him, he runs toward me with a big grin on his face like we have been apart for years.  I will never ever tire of this!
He knows how to be funny and likes to make people laugh, and he has a sense of humor...he'll put on a show for anyone - Shy he is NOT!
He is our whole world and I love being his Momma!!
