Today Mason turns 11 months old...
 rocking in a chair that once was mine!
He waves bye bye, claps, gives "Hi 5's" and points.
I think his favorite veggie is peas and he loves kiwi.
He loves desserts of any kind -- but he gets this honest!
He can feed himself using his fingers and using a spoon.
He has 6 teeth.
He's not quite ready to walk yet.
He waves to any passer by and says Hi...he's very friendly and not shy around any stranger.
He loves to be tickled and he laughs and laughs.
He loves to be chased...especially if you're pretending to be a monster and are growling.  He'll take off lightning fast, smiling the entire time.
He weighs 23 pounds and I feel every bit of it when I'm carrying  him around.
He sleeps at least 10 hours through the night, but usually around 12...it's so nice to finally get some sleep around here!
He says "Here Kitty Kitty" -- it sounds more like "He Ki Ki" but we know what he's saying.
He would kick or throw a ball all day long if you'd let him.
When he's upset, he only wants his Mom.
He'll sit still and listen while I read him one book...but no more.
He is very happy...almost all the time.
And we think he's very smart :)

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. One last getaway before our kids headed back to school and this one couldn't have been more perfect!  I highly recommend seeing these amazing Falls at least once in your lifetime!  We did all things tourist-y and I wanted to share some of our favorites if you're ever looking to take a trip North. Mason and Vince's Mini-Room Makeover.

The boys have been begggging for bunk beds for YEARS -  and to get ready for our next newest addition in November, we finally gave in to their pleas and they're now sharing a room! For not a whole lot of money, I think it turned out super cute.  I'll post the deets here if any of you are looking for a quick remodel for a shared brothers bedroom. The wall I did completely on my own, only using a tape measure, level, and razor blade!!  Originally I had wanted an authentic restored barn wood - but the $1200 price tag made me quickly change my mind.  Instead, I picked this up at Lowe's for less than $1 a square foot.  I had never attempted a project like this at all, but after watching just a few YouTube videos I felt like it was something I could certainly tackle on my own.  I did apply just a thin layer of additional glue before I put each peel 'n stick panel to the wall.  Total cost for this Driftwood Gray weathered wood wall was le...
